WHY IIM IPM ?

IIM IPM , an acronym for Indian Institute of Management, Integrated programme in Management , is a shot in the arm and a real boost for students desirous of having excellent leadership  qualities and better (lucrative) career placements.

It’s a special and unique programme meant for young blood with a lust and flair for learning and imbibing managerial and leadership aspirations through a world class education.

The most attractive feature of the programme is that it is aimed at students who have passed out of class XII/Higher Secondary or equivalent from Pan India schools without taking CAT exam.       

Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the learning goals are split into those for the

first 3 years and the last 2 years. The first 3 years is demonstration of  language, communication skills ethical awareness and physical well being. The last years have a taste of PGP programme which are exemplary.

The last 2 years are very specific and all pervasive enabling students to understand critical thinking skills, integrative thinking , principles of communication, competence in quantitative analysis.

After 3 years of intensive study of foundational disciplines ,the students train as managers along with the students of the institutes  2 year PGP,,taking the same course package of 4rth and 5^th year. Students are required to commit to a social internship at the end of 3^rd year and business internship between 4rth an d5th year. At the end of the programme , the participants are awarded with Bachelor of Arts(foundation) and MBA  by  IIM Indore after successful completion.

COURSES OFFERED IN FIRST THREE YEARS

Foundation courses in Maths and statistics, Game theory, Optimization, Stochastic Modelling ,Mathematical Modelling, Micro and macro Economics ,Indian Economy, Money banking and finance , econometrics, International trade. Psychology, Sociology, Political science, Humanities, Literature, Foreign languages

Dance , music, drama

COURSES OFFERED AT PGP LEVEL

Communication, Economics , Finance and accounting, Humanities  and Social Sciences, Information systems, Marketing, OB and OR, Strategy, Rural Immersion Programme, Himalaya Outbound Programme, Industry visit,

IIM shall be  admitting 150 students to the IPM  from 2020

The institute provides COMPULSORY DAY CARE Accommodation to the students 

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process is on the basis of  Aptitude test (AT), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
